Today's ensemble is right up my alley! I went with a combination of the three different looks, pairing my plaid riding jacket with my old brocade jeans (although the glitz here is pretty subdued compared to the gold pair in Angie's original ensemble) and my Frye moto boots. Because my jacket is short in front and the pants are quite fitted, I chose to replace the more fitted sweaters in the original ensemble with a long, loose pink silk blouse.
Bonus blurry outerwear shot. This is my ancient black wool swing coat; I think it is probably around 8 years old by now. It's super useful as all my jackets and bulky sweaters fit under it. I still remember it was $40 at H&M and I'm sure I have worn it hundreds of times by now; amazingly it is still in good condition and the lining is still intact. You never know with H&M - sometimes you get a piece like this that last for years and other times they fall apart after 2 wears.
