Hi all, this is a bit of a drive-by post. I used to be active on YLF a few years ago, but dropped off as life became more busy and I became less interested in fashion. I still miss you all and think of YLF people often, and have occasionally lurked. It’s nice to see that so many names I recognize from my time are still here, and I hope everyone is doing well in what’s been a tough year and a half for everyone.
Anyway, I wanted to share an outfit, along with a life update. I’m engaged, and recently did an engagement photo shoot in the Arnold Arboretum. I wore a silk lehenga (skirt, top, and long scarf) that I ordered from India (Brand: Ekaya Banaras) just from WhatsApp messages and sending measurements over—a nerve-wracking experience (but really no other option during Covid) was pleased with the quality and fit of what I received. It made quite a splash with my relatives in India too, because they keep calling my parents to comment about my outfit!
First photo is the hair salon where i had my hair+makeup done (since I had no confidence of beating the heat+humidity on my own) and second is in the arboretum.
