I’ve been traveling for the past 3 months, more or less, and so haven’t had NEARLY enough chances to enjoy my summer closet. But now I am at home for a few weeks and here are a few recent outfits.

1/2: for a stroll to a restaurant on a Friday night with hubs. These are Muji pants, some kind of genius technical fabric masquerading as gingham, so they don’t need ironing and they dry super fast after rain.
3/4: the ultimate summer outfit is a linen jumpsuit (this one from Uniqlo). Cut high enough on top that it can be worn with or without a shirt. And best of all, dusty black rather than true black, and so more forgiving of lint, smudges etc. The shoes are so fun and colorful- reminded me of a woven blanket to enjoy by a fireside- but TOO small. They will find a new home.
5/6: another Friday night date outfit. Old-ish HM textured lace skirt that I always saved for formal, but never wore, and now I realize it’s stretchy and washable and comfy for everyday.
