Haha @JAileen food wins hands down, every time!
@Sal Thanks, hope the festivities weren't too noisy for you!
I like experimenting with silly emojis - it doesn't always have to be a happy face or a pretty flower, yknow?
@Jenni
You get it haha - I 'let' him wear his flipflops (since we had to take our shoes off anyway) but I 'made' him wear a collared shirt at least. We're all compromising somehow, lol!
Don't worry, I get it - I ironically don't like big cities either (we didn't even take MrZ to see London when he visited the UK, & he wasn't bothered lol). But Hong Kong is actually *a lot* more than the densely packed city part!
I'd recommend visiting the outlying islands (like Cheng Chau & Lamma), hiking the parts of Hong Kong island that are beyond the MTR line, camping in Sai Kung, & even staying in one of the quieter hotels in New Territories. Plenty of animal parks like the Tuen Mun Wetlands & the Hong Kong Aviary too (by the HK Botanical Gardens).
There's lots of greenery, waterfalls & beaches in Hong Kong - I had a friend come visit *just* for the hikes (she didn't step foot in the built-up parts except to go to & from the airport!)
