WIW: Easter Saturday shopping

Went shopping with my husband yesterday. Took my new cropped jeans for their first spin. I'm wondering if the need to be cropped more.
Peasant top: Just Jeans
Crocheted vest: Blackstone, $10 as needed a tiny mend, from outlet store.
Jeans: K and K
Shoes: lacy white sneakers $15 from The Warehouse
Bag: Tan leather Colorado brand from
Strandbags.
We did quite a lot of walking about.
Thoughts, comments all appreciated.

You look great in graphic white and black! I am going to say yes crop the jeans a bit more - it is hard to say from the photo angle but Angie recommends 2-4 inches above the ankle.

I'm no crop expert, but I also agree slightly shorter. I think you look very nice in this - the top is good too.

I love the textural interest of the vest/top/shoes together. I agree on cropping the pants a little more. Nice green backdrop there, those (Laurel?) leaves are so glossy.

I'm not sure they need to be cropped. It looks like your photographer is looking down at you, and the angle is off. I would like to see a side view before suggesting you modify the hem.

The fit of the bottoms looks perfect (and perfectly flattering). I don't think you need the vest, it distracts from the lovely top. Nice juxtoposition with rugged and dainty, and good colour trio with black, white, and the cognac bag.

Jenni, how open are you to a new pair of specs?

Oh Angie I only got those specs maybe a year or two ago. I liked the rose gold colour and the little flowers at the side. I do have some purple ones and I tried some teal ones from Dolce and Gabbana which I did really like but were out there bright. What are you thinking, that they're too dull?
Shevia, Carla, yes DH is 6 foot 4 and his photos always look down on 5 foot 2 me. I keep forgetting to ask him to bend down. I will photo the jeans again and may try rolling.
Donna, I adore those leaves too, they are a native tree called a karaka. My whole front garden is natives except for the buxus edging.

The first I noticed was how the black and white items complement your hair, and the interesting details on your top and waistcoat. The white shoes and cropped jeans make it a cute "springy" outfit. MAYBE the look would be even greater if the crops were a little shorter.

I really like this outfit, and your new jeans look great on you. I would like to see them shorter, and I was thinking what Angie said--possibly just roll them? I like the look of cuffs on this width of leg.
