So, it's been a while since I last posted. To be honest, I've had a really rotten last few weeks, and haven't really been thinking about style. On the other hand it's nice to have a well stocked closet so one doesn't have to think too hard about getting dressed when one doesn't have the mental bandwidth for it.
Anyway, life goes on and there are still things to celebrate. Here is what I wore yesterday for Easter - we had a lovely weekend with family (including our new(ish) 5 month old nephew whom we met for the first time!).
This outfit is both a nod to spring/Easter with the flowers and bright colors and an homage to someone who would have loved it.
As you all know, I'm not the biggest fan of tucking into high waisted things, but I actually didn't really mind it here - I think because a) it's a skirt and not pants, and b) the skirt is fitted through the hips rather than flared so the proportions with the high waist are more pleasing to me.
