We had the warmest October on record here in New England, so I didn’t get to wear my Nutmeg coat until Nov 1. Now it’s Nov 8th and it’s too cold!!! Hopefully the winter temps will leave soon and not come back right away. I am also trying a new haircut, slightly shorter and more layered, although I don’t know how obvious the change will be in photos. .My hair is quite wavy, in a totally disorganized way, so a layered style requires more work to make the layers look good , but I really wanted a change. Would love to hear your feedback as always.

1- old haircut with a black/white/cantaloupe outfit I wore for errands on Halloween.
2 & 3 - new haircut with Nutmeg Coat outfit worn to a Nov 1 pumpkin- recipe-tasting party
Cantaloupe scarf
Kenneth Cole Nutmeg Coat
Margot Leopard cross-body (also new)
Loft Black sweater with ruffled cuffs
NYDJ Grey Jeans
Franco Sarto Black Loafers

4 - For the party I brought a recipe called “Party Pumpkin” which is basically a scooped out pumpkin filled with chunks of apple, nuts, dried fruit, and spices, roasted in the oven long enough to soften the pumpkin. You serve by scooping out the mixture , including some of the cooked pumpkin , and topping with yogurt.

5 & 6 - Nutmeg Coat outfit worn for running errands Nov 7
Nutmeg Coat
KUT jeans

Franco Sarto booties

Cognac tote

A black sweater with a geometric print. It’s a wintry style but a light synthetic so not very warm.
...and the black sweater in its original form before I performed a tassel-ectomy on it. Bought at F21 last summer at a very low price; impulse buy with severe sales goggles. Trying to do less of that but do like this sweater.
