Thanks RobinF, I do like the way the new hair frames my face. I sometimes want longer hair because I like the way it FEELS but shorter layers around my small featured face usually LOOK better.
Thanks Janet, yes this nutmeg color seems to suit me well. I’m looking for more things in this color....
Karen13, what a great idea! I do have wine pants, and will have to see about doing a rust/burgundy outfit. I did see Angie’s recent posting with these colors and am considering….
Sara thanks, I don’t think the haircolor is any different, must be the lighting. Or maybe the layering makes it look a little different.
Thanks Celia and Toban
KellyGirl thanks - the party pumpkin recipe came from a cookbook authored in the 90’s by one of the ladies who started Sliver Palate. It’s called Great Good Food by Julee Russo and it came out just at the start of the low fat thing. I don’t know if it’s still available but if you are interested PM me and I can forward a screen shot of the recipe to you.
Thanks Style Fan.., I love the Portmerion Botanic Garden pattern too although I have purchased it judiciously because I like solid dinnerware too. This bowl and a round serving plate were wedding gifts that have held up beautifully.
Angie, you are SOO kind. Love your inputs. The leopard bag was a recent find and although it’s a little small for everyday use I love it for those times when a smaller bag will work. I do love blue and nutmeg/pumpkin, especially blue denim but otherwise too. Maybe having more pumpkin/nutmeg/cinnamon in my wardrobe is the key to also adding and wearing non-denim navy, which I haven’t found I like as much as I want to. I think you are right that my hairstyle has a 70’s vibe, although I was more into really straight long hair back then.
