Dear Fabbers, thank you so much for your comments about some culottes I wore yesterday.

As a result, I wore the culottes again today at DS Sports Day, as I feel much better about them thanks to your help. Key to my comfort was different underwear! I also wore my Zara shirt and red Zara shoes, and an old Cath Kinston bag, that has images of Brighton Pavilion on, which is very near where we live.

Thank you for looking and for your encouragement.

All comments welcome - could I wear this shirt for work may be?

Thank you all lovely Fabbers. It was a super day. We very much like DS school and have many lovely friends who also have their children there. There were some lovely outfits, beautiful summery dresses, Angie. A lot of women were wearing heels, mainly wedges, and whilst elegant in the morning for the formal speeches, by the end of the day, the heels looked mostly out of place. I was grateful for wearing flats!

I will wear the blouse to work one day, may be in August, when it is a bit more relaxed in the office. I am soooo relieved to have made the culottes more comfy by different underwear! They will be a workhorse Summer.

Pretty and relaxed. The patent red shoes are super cute.

I love the colour of the blouse. Could be worn for work is the wrap is not fussy (and you don't have to re-tie regularly) and the neckline doesn't offer a plunging view of your breast when you lean over
(I understand you work with men, as I do).

Lovely outfit! Good underpinnings can fix a lot of problems. I find hunting for the correct lingerie for an outfit more difficult than shopping for anything else.

I am in love with the shoes ( of course) and the stunning bag. You can even buy Cath Kidston bags in New Zealand! They are a bit costly with the exchange rate and I'm more of a shoe than bag girl, but I have really liked the ones I've seen, some lovely florals. My only sister lives in Oxford UK also as she fled there aged 23 ( escaping a romance gone wrong) and finished up meeting and marrying an Englishman. They have two sons. So Cath Kidston Oxford reminds me of her too.
