Another easy peasy outfit for the school runs. I am not sure why my dresses were not getting enough wear until now! They are so easy especially for morning rush! Here is another summer favorite dress of mine, this time with the new gladiators (Liliana).
About these gladiators...They look cute, are a lovely color for my skin tone (more bronze than rose gold) and they add that little edge to the outfit. BUT .... and that's a very big but .... they are uncomfortable and pinch at weird places. The synthetic leather is scratchy and I wore this today for about barely half hour and I still was limping at the end of it. The lace came undone twice. Cheap shoes are always a hit or miss ... But this wasn't that cheap! It was 45$ (more than the Patricia Green loafers on clearance). And the return window of course has expired because I procrastinated. Argh .... Live and Learn I guess! I was just so desperate for gladiators .... a mistake was inevitable.
The dress is a gift from MIL (not sure what brand). The BCBG green tote completed the outfit. Happiness factor was not so high because of the comfort issues ... but I like how it looks What do you say? Thanks for looking lovelies and all suggestions are always welcome x
