WIW: Dress Week Challenge (Skirt version)

I took inspiration from Ingunn's Dress Week challenge and applied it to the many skirts I currently have in my closet (also inspired by Angie's pencil skirt outfit from earlier in the week). It was a dreary, rainy and cold week but I wore skirts anyway - until yesterday when I let the weather win and wore pants.

I took these pictures on my iphone and edited all of them (except #2) with a new free app called Snapseed. If you enjoy taking pictures on your iPhone, I highly recommend this app; it's pretty user friendly and doesn't take long to edit pics.

I love your pink dots outfit! So happy and pretty and very flattering. You have great legs and the skirt length you choose shows them off well. You can tell by your WIWs that you know how to dress your figure to best advantage.

Denise - thanks for the feedback on the skirt length and dressing my figure. I very much appreciate this as I am new to wearing shorter pencil skirts as well as a belt around my waist because I carry weight in that area. However, I was pinning this type of look to my Pinterest boards and I finally challenged myself to wear styles that I was pinning. And it's now a favorite look of mine to put together. To hear that it's working is of great relief. Thank you!

You look great in pencil skirts. These outfits are lovely. I think the second one is my favorite, but it's hard to choose.

Shannon - I shop at Cleo so much that I actually make an effort to go to different Cleo stores in my area so the SA's don't start to think I'm weird. Even so, I think one location is on to me a little bit ;)! I just keep finding things there that meet my style goals, fit well and don't break my budget!
