I share your feeling that it's great to have a variety of skirt lengths in the closet. Aren't we lucky that we can do that these days? For wearing with flats or even sometimes just because, I really like an at-the-knee or just-above-the-knee skirt. But I also love the look of midis, even if they are tougher for me to wear. So let's enjoy them both!

Very nice! I'm a big fan of these two neutral colors together, especially with the cream from the purse. Great outfit to show off the cool Docs! The jacket seems like it'd be a little long, but since the skirt is a bit longer seems to work. I think the longer length relaxes the look a bit, too.
