Angie inspired me with her outfit post here (the Rosie memorial ensemble) to make a pair of cutoffs. I had the perfect pair of jeans to use: my Lucky Sundowns, which I haven't worn for several years. They were the first pair of what I like to think of as my "hip" jeans (as I was just moving on from the Mom jean look), and they are a size up from my current jeans. They felt a little boyfriend-y, but with a flared leg that I didn't like all that well with the boyfriend fit.
I cut them per Angie's instructions--did not bother hemming, just rolled them up--although I see that mine aren't quite as long as hers. Still, I'm happy to have given these jeans a new life as long cutoffs!

Here I'm wearing them with a tattoo-print tee (One World), heeled tie-up sandals (P. Monjo), hemp jacket (Layers Squared), and brown leather belt (B Low the Belt).

Thanks for looking. Happy weekend!
