1) So I've been seeing all these colorful arm candy/party looks all over the interwebs, but I felt that might be too young for me. Then somewhere I came across an example of a more subdued and polished arm candy look and so I thought I'd see what I could gather together. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry. From left to right: Citizen watch, tennis bracelet, gold tone necklace that I wrapped around my wrist, hollow gold bracelet, and thin plastic tortoise cuff.

So not a raging kegger sort of arm party, but more like a mommies' book club meeting. : P

2) I probably wear this striped shirt once a week. It was once a dress that got too short from repeated washings, so I snipped it to the length I wanted and just left the hem to roll as it wished. For a little visual interest, I gathered one side with a clear elastic, then tucked under and let the other side hang lower.

The only newly acquired item here is the bronze beaded necklace from the thrift store.
