I'll share some of the outfits I wore to some Christmas events. I created most of the sets as I went along, just didn't have the chance to post, so I'll catch you up on some of the highlights.

I wore this on a Friday night date to a tree lighting ceremony and mini-festival at a major shopping center. There was a band concert, a mini-"parade" (just a marching band, a few costume characters, and Santa of course), but I think I enjoyed the carriage ride the most. Very romantic.

The shopping center has three higher end restaurants, so we dressed up, and ate at a steak and seafood establishment.

It was a little chilly outside, but not frigid, so I did have on a light jacket outside (not pictured). As for the outfit itself, I wore a green Santa Claus sweater, a red crepe skirt with the hemline a little above my knees, opaque white pantyhose, and red boots with a 4" heel and a 1/2" platform, that come up to just under my knees.

Just a little side story, I wore this to work (except that I just wore black pumps, not difficult to change shoes quickly). I have to dress up for work, but my boss actually asked me to hold off on the Christmas prints until Thanksgiving week LOL. The outfit is within dress code, but not too many clients are yet feeling festive, though she had no problem if I wanted to choose colors if I wanted something Christmas-y for a Christmas thing after work. I wasn't asked to change, and it wasn't an official reprimand, just a request, but thought I'd share that little side story. You'll see how I accommodate this in a future outfit.
