This past Saturday was beautiful, the warmest day here in a while, wall to wall sunshine, literally not one cloud in the sky, albeit a little chilly, we almost made it to 50 but not quite. Still, a nice day to be outside for a change.

My boyfriend knew of this somewhat higher end steak restaurant he was last at several years ago. He thought I would like it, and he was right. It sits way up high on a hill and overlooks a lake. There is a small park next to it, so we hung out there for a while, just to be outside. It was quite romantic. Plus, a fun little roadtrip, as this was nearly an hour away. Good to get out sometimes. The date was so romantic.

It seemed like a yellow and blue type of day. That dress is actually one of my summer dresses. I think the eyelet detail and the belt liven it up and gives it a touch of class. It comes to several inches above my knees. I wore a sky blue blouse under it, it is actually a little lighter than the photograph indicates, nearly an identical match to the sky blue nylons. It is still the middle of winter, though, so it seemed appropriate to include something dark, and for boots to be my choice of footwear. I chose to wear a black cardigan when we were outside, and wore black boots, that come to just under my knees, with a 4" heel and a 3/4 inch platform.
