Laughing about your comment about your denomination and lack of style...we attended a church for a few years when our kids were young, and I was SO overdressed every week. Casual doesn't mean sloppy! Some kids literally wore pajamas to church - even on days when they spoke or performed in front of the congregation. I often wished there was a little more general hygiene going on. I didn't like it. Church is church, a little more effort should be made. You are setting a good example!!

My personal faves, maybe, are the musical notes dress and the outfit in 38/39. But I also love 1, 8, 15, and 31.

@ophelia: Almost everything I buy at Nordstrom is 40% off, and lately a few things have been over 60% off. I use their Wish List and check it frequently and don't remove even purchased items until I've cut the tags. Sometimes this means I have to re-order. Recently, I bought a jeans jacket for $65 which I thought was a decent price even though it wasn't on sale. But then it was marked down to $48.75. BTW, I have narrowish shoulders and short arms and short legs -- meaning that even Petite sizes are sometimes too long in the sleeves and always too long in the legs.

@Laurie: I think I've even seen adults come to church in pajama bottoms, at least in the day when it was a *thing*. My daughter's preschool teacher would advise parents who had a hard time getting their little ones going in the morning to just dress them in the next day's clothes the night before. That would eliminate the morning struggle and fights.
