WIW: denim skirt and brown boots

This outfit was inspired by one I found when initially trying to decide my first brown boot outfit for a meeting. The inspiration photo got quite a few votes and I knew I wanted to try it! I added the scarf and glasses later wanting to feel cozy and haven't taken them off since.

I'm always concerned with front, side and rear views, the skirt from the back pic seems like it could fit better.

Any opinions or input appreciated!

I like the color repetition and bookending you have in this outfit. It look so pulled together. I do think the skirt is a bit snug in back, will it loosen throughout the day though.

Brown and black work so well together -- and the boots are a classic, but rich, color and shape.

I love the additions of the pattern in the belt and scarf. As for fit --- how did it seem at the end of the day? Also, it's possible that the tights were causing the skirt to "stick" and hang up a bit in back. If it's too snug, you could either go for shapewear tights, or just cover with a longer topper. I'm not strict about the booty curve, however. I have to wear a sack to hide mine! We are made in 3D, after all, and you look great!

You look terrific. I would call the fit body con, certainly not unflattering, the question if more your comfort level than anything else.

I really like the color and pattern combo. The fit doesn't look too tight from the front. From the back it looks body con, but not too much so. How does it feel when you walk and sit? Is the bottom pleat forced open because of snugness or does it stay closed when you're standing? If it stays closed then it's probably not too tight.

It seemed like the issue with the skirt was more that it kept creeping up, probably because of the tights. I had thinner tights underneath but an extra layer of fleece lined footless ones on top so I'm sure that didn't help!
