Thanks, Fabbers! I trust your collective wisdom and am pleasantly surprised that the plaid crops are favorites! (I went out on a limb to try them--oddly sized tbh. My usual size fit like jodphurs.)
@ Janet: I think my eye just needs to adjust to non-denim pants. They’re more voluminous than what I’m used to so that could be what’s throwing me off. They give the illusions of hips which is kind of foreign to me but I’m encouraged that you like them!
@Khris: Thanks! That’s a great idea--I forget about chambray for summer. The tails on my shirt are so long though that it would be hard to tuck. I’ll definitely try the sneakers!
@Mirjana, Tanya and Synne: Thank you! I’m surprised the pants are so well liked! I always tell my daughters that they need to give styles a chance...seems I need to take my own advice!
@catherine: Thank you! I felt great in the tiered top and the red sandals after weeks in jeans in boots.
@Nikki: That’s a great idea! Thanks!
@Angie: Thank you! Oreo has been the bright spot in the pandemic--that’s for sure. She’s been loving having us all home more. The doggie tee is from JCrew. It’s got some silly made up dog “breeds” on it--made me laugh so I had to get it! JCrew really does have some great, whimsical novelty tees.
@Irina: Thank you! Elegant is not one of my descriptors but I like it!
@Suz: Thank you! More love for the plaid crops. Who knew! I’m excited to try them again soon.
@Sharan: Thank you. Denim is integral to my style. It completes me--haha! I’ve been branching out to different styles--patch pocket, cropped, wide leg. The only ones I’ve pretty much ditched are skinnies. I have a few left over for winter tucking into boots but I’ve pretty much moved on. BF styles are my fave still though and I’m back to 501s--looser fits for summer. Will definitely play with the plaid pants--happy they are so well received.
