Janet, when I hit SF late this a.m., I doubt that it was even 60 degrees, although it was warmer across the Bay. We keep our windows open at night when it gets down to the mid/high 50s, and since our outer walls are late 1920s stucco, the house stays cool. Our temps this summer have mostly been in the high 60s/low 70s, but maybe in Sept./Oct. we'll get some days in the 80s. Would you like to come visit? We should have an SF meetup!
Suz, I think you're right that having cropped pants makes the look work better than long pants -- which I've never tried TBH. At any rate, they make it more S/S. When women wear leggings with dresses, I think they are often cropped so maybe that's what our eyes want to see?
JAileen, having luggage colored footwear and bags is a new color for me (as in the last few months). I'm amazed at its versatility, I guess because it is a neutral. I think perhaps I can use it year 'round.
bonnie, I'm looking forward to seeing your experiments. Through YLF, I am learning never to say never or at least to eat my words. I am sure there is some post of mine from a year or two ago wherein I vowed never to wear cropped pants. . .I'm so glad I hacked these!
