Hi all. Just when you thought it was safe to venture back into (the main part of) the forum...another Orphan Black instalment.

Delphine, like Sarah, favours black. But her style is much more elegant and polished. She starts off as a student in the show, and her outfits are more fun and youthful then (think shorts with knee high boots and a military style coat). Later she moves into a corporate role and adopts a uniform of slim black pants, silky shirts or blouses tucked in (usually in a pale neutral colour), and a tailored coat or jacket (usually black). I think of her style as polished and minimalist. It is current with some classic elements (military jacket, ladylike satchel, knee high boots).

So, a few problems here. I really don't have any silky shirts or blouses or blazers for work. Also, I did not feel like wearing all black/neutral again. So I gave myself permission to wear some colour. And skirts (I like them). Plus a bit of jewellery (ditto). But I did try to go for the minimalist, tailored vibe with classic elements. Of course, I am happy to hear how you think I did

Outfit 1 (pics 1-3): Mixed media jacket (Delphine has a similar one) from Witchery with midi skirt (Witchery) and OTK boots (Midas). I am hoping that the skirt slit looks just a little alluring as opposed to just a little skanky. Kate Spade bag. Underneath I wore a green jersey top (Three Dots) and my green circle belt. I like the skirt a lot but it tends to wrinkle at the front. Any tips for this? I am going to try an iron aid on it.

Outfit 2 (pics 4-5): A nod to Angie's tan fall ensemble :). Tan military jacket (Jigsaw) with Metalicus tunic and AG jeans (they are like velvet and pass for pants). Eos boots. Oroton bag. Delphine would wear a tucked in blouse.

Outfit 3 (pics 6-7): Black cold shoulder top (Dorothy Perkins) with Marcs sleeveless vest, BR turtleneck sweater, Metalicus skirt, and Jo Mercer boots. Kate Spade bag.

Outfit 4 (pics 8-10): This looks very black in the photo but the skirt is actually a dark green velvet (let's just savour those words for a moment shall we: dark green velvet...). Its older and its from Jigsaw. I wore this with a dark blue turtleneck (it looks black in the photo) and black mixed media jacket (Witchery) and knee high boots (Jo Mercer). Kate Spade bag.
