WIW: Debombshelling a new knitted dress

WIW today, inspired by several recent topics in the forum, like Beth Ann"s sharpening the pencils, Day Vies's debombshelling a dress, and Shiny's post about cobalt knitted dress:-).

-New Marks and Spencer thin knitted dress(worn with only a normal, oldie slip underneath-not commando like:-), so thought I'll put my
-new, very versatile, taupe shirred on waist and collar waistcoat with pockets (Vögele)on top of it for more confidence on wearring it for the first time, to work-and wear with
-also new taupe wedge suede booties (extra comfy Medicus). IMHO this brand makes shoes mainly for older people, I only bought them for my MOM(76)till now, but it's first season that I can see a bit of more fashionable designs, so I snaped up on these extra comfy taupe booties, and one kitten heeled black suede one, too.
I plan to wear this dress with my new black jacket and black pumps, booties or high boots, even a denim jacket- too.

I'm in love with the cheery missoni like zig-zag pattern in taupe and blue on it's skirt. Thus I don't own any blue shoes, or jacket I feel they would elevate this outfit from nothing special to instant fabness...so will keep my eyes open...

Hope you like my outfit, it's very comfy, and feel happy in it!

Great outfit! The colors all work so well together, it's all tied in between the pattern, shirt and booties.

This is a dress, Lyn? Cute! It's looks like a top and a skirt. Your new booties look very fashionable--nice that they are from a comfort line! The vest is a nice security blanket, but maybe you will work up the nerve to take it off once you get to work.

Shiny, here are the close ups you asked for.(1-3)
Nr. 5-6-7 are same brand, but another style as you can see, but still extra comfortable, so when couldn't decide which, I have bought them, too:-).
(I have had both colours taupe and black covered from last 2 years (see in nr 4 which are my fall shoes) and worked so well with my wardrobe but they were 3 inch heels, and a bit tirering my feet. Plus, the old black one is a shiny leather. You wouldn't think it's that important, but the lower heels, and the matte finish of the suede leather on this black one gives completely other looks!)

Great outfit! I think it looks lovely with the taupe boots for a neutral look, though I can also see that cobalt would be pretty fun too
