Had the day off yesterday and spent it going on a long walk with the hubby, stopping for a leisurely lunch. Weather was gorgeous. Outfit is pretty simplistic -- I am still struggling with a cold. I didn't even have the energy to add a belt:
- red BR merino V neck
- black Inc Ponte knits
- F21 cream flats with gold studs
- ATL denim jacket
The shoes: I picked these up at F21 awhile back (see close up). I would normally not wear these with socks but I was not in the mood for sweaty feet or blisters, so I allowed practicality and comfort to rule over fashion.
Meanwhile, this weekend DH and I hit open studios and I added two new items: a wrap bracelet and a new bag. I am so excited about these two items! I can never find bracelets that fit my wrist, and this one does. Plus, it is casual so it goes well with my casual capsule. As for the bag, I fell in love with the bold geometric black & white print instantly!! This is going to go great with my cobalt wool coat.
The bag and bracelet go into my "just add white" capsule. Because of my coloring, it seems that's all I need to do with any outfit to elevate it from drab to fab. These items join my pearls, optic white slouchy bag, cream Kate Spade baguette bag, a bevvy of white blouses, cream merino V neck sweater, new BR white/navy striped crew neck, white denim jacket, white pleather jacket, cream pashmina, white clutch, and white trench coat. And of course the F21 flats too.
Um, can a girl have enough white??
