WIW: Day 1 of challenge

I joined Get Your Pretty On's Summer Style me Challenge for easy no thinking dressing for the next three weeks so I can more fully enjoy family before two go off to college and grad schools..

Will be wearing flats for my broken toe for the duration of the challenge.

I may not be commenting, but I love the picture option to see everyone's photos in one shot.. wish their was a like button for acknoledging with less time involvement during times like these... I guess not participating at all in my YLF addiction is impossible., but at least now it's not several times a day!

So cute. I love the entire outfit. I broke my toe last summer and it healed up faster than I expected. I hope is the same for you. Oh and something I learned: what hurts more than breaking your toe ? Stubbing your broken toe! Tread carefully .lol

Be sure that the toe is healing in a straight position. I broke my little toe as a teen. It doesn't look crooked but a need a half size larger shoe on that foot even after all these years to accommodate it. I wish it had been splinted or at least taped firmly to the next toe.

I second that on getting your toe checked/making sure its healing properly. When I broke my little toe I didn't do any of those things and deeply regret it...it healed in a way I can no longer bend it...and its a bit crooked. 4 years later it can still be painful at times.

please don't delay with having the toe checked. Ok, you always look fresh and effortless. I love this hat and the pants rolled lovely.

No worries, I've had my toe taped immediately and it's looking good.. a day of elevation helped tremendously! you've gotta love the nude colored tape these days! Making sure to wear shoes that didn't put any pressure on it was advice given and that is a real help as well...
