WIW: Culottes and hair au naturel (channelling my inner Jane Fonda :))

I'm finally in sandals and bare legs...yay! Lovely Summers day here in the UK at last...we've had a few days like this and are expecting a few more I think.

Culottes and my trusty retro-inspired Clarks sandals were todays choice for seeing some new clients and also popping out to the shops. You're seeing my hair in its natural state for the first time here. I totally ran out of time to finish styling it last night and in the end I gave up and said 'what the heck, I'll leave it wavy' (DS calls me a 'curly fry'... cute!). Anyway... seeing as Angie has likened my style akin to Jane Fonda lately, I thought this channelled her quite well. That's my story anyway

Love your hair wavy. I wonder if it were cut specifically to bring out the waves if you could do wash and wear Fonda shag? Mine will do that (I wore it that way for a while as a teen).

Suz, I think with my shorter layers as they are now, if I used the right product I may be able to get it wavier. Truth is I had stared to blow dry the sides last night in a quick attempt to control it and then gave up, so If I let it do it's own thing from the off it should be wavier there too. I'll have a chat with my stylist next time I go for more info.

I love the hair but don't listen to me - I always love natural hair better than blown out and my style is not as polished as yours.

I love the snake print of the bag with the culottes taupe, the very-Diane touches of coral, the sandals, and I love the neckline of that tee on you. Ok, I love everything, in a nutshell.

Lovely as always, Diane! Culottes love you ^^ Really liking the white and coral paired with the gray/taupe. More love for the wavy hair, it looks great! I am going to suggest the same to you that I did to Joy: add a little texture to get it a little more tousled OR piecey looking. For texture I like salt sprays; should be good with your climate, too. This is the one I use (teal), and also a dry shampoo-hair spray hybrid that will add both volume AND texture.

I love it wavy! I really don't know how you keep it straight most days. When I visit the UK, no matter what I do in the am, my hair ends up massively wavy due to the weather there.

I was expecting something more wild while reading your description.

I've been enjoying warmer weather and letting my hair dry naturally but with product sometimes. It's not exactly wavy but it goes in a lot of different directions instead of tucked under.
