WIW: Culottes and Boyfriend Vest

Today I had the liberty to wear some heels for a brunch with some girlfriends So here is the culottes and BF vest version I had promised the last time.

I have paired my culottes (F&F - european brand) with a drapey layered white tank top (Mango). I threw on my BF vest (F&F - european brand) over the top. For shoes I went with my ankle strap pumps (New Look). For the price range (30$!), these shoes are worth it's weight in gold! Beautiful and one of my comfiest heels ever! Can't ask for more The striped clutch (old/no brand) completed the outfit. I was going to throw in a pop of color with the clutch but then decided I just want to go minimal. So black and white it is

I love this outfit But I don't mind being told "What were you thinking?" LOL! The long flowy top over the culottes may not be to everyone's taste. So please feel free to tell me your thoughts! Thanks for looking as always x

Deborah - I do feel very Deborah in this. Lol! So you are right! This outfit should be in your closet and I am sure you can actually pull it out right away :). I am 5'4 and the culottes are from a European brand called F&F who have retail presence here.

Janet - Probably because I have no waist?! Lol! I have a tough time accentuating my waist because its very high. Only empire line tops and dresses would actually emphasize my natural waist. And then I look pregnant! So guess I am just used to this look

I think for me, you nailed the look with the choice of footwear, a heavier heel or thick strappy sandal would have made the look a bit too heavy, I think. This look is magazine worthy.
