My Banana Republic cropped knitted sweater that I've been stalking for about a month finally arrived and I couldn't be happier. I love the textural interest and the cable stitch and that it also continues around the back. I also like that it's cropped, which for me, hits just below my hip bones. Some reviewers think it's too cropped for them, but for me, it's perfect, as I am short-waisted.
I also bought a new pair of off-white booties. I've never had white boots before. Never say never, right? I think they're great. They're Brink from Topshop. I'm daydreaming of other outfits to wear with them as we transition into spring and before sandal weather. (I cheated and brought them in to work and changed out my winter boots for these.)
I thought I would wear both these things with my high rise bootcut cords from Aritzia to give them more wear, as the weather is starting to warm up and I will start to feel that they're too warm. I added a small pearl pendant because
I didn't want any jewellery to compete with the sweater, but I felt that no necklace was too bare. I am cosy, but I feel "light" on a sunny late winter day.
