WIW crazy color that stands alone

I usually lump my WIW posts into weeks or at least coordinated chunks. This one has to stand alone. I purchased a purple argyle sweater (when it was a flash deal for $19) for DH

and he decried Saturday to be family colorful day so I coordinated with him
I love the colors and print of this top but admit I never try to tone it down and usually wear it garanimal style with hot pink or red. It's a bit crazy considering all the black and white and neutrals I've been gravitating toward, but it was fun (even if my photo expression says prison matron)

I think I'm just adding some fall festive color. Do you like to test your color boundaries too?

Oh my soul sister! I love that you just went for it here. That sweater is super fun and you made it look so sophisticated with the belt and shoes. I love to do weird color things, especially when I am not shopping. There's a lot of options when you really get creative.

Actually, I don't think this is too out there. The colors are in the same range. It looks great to me, very cohesive.

I agree with Zap - the colors are cohesive! That said, this is farther than I usually go. Love this, though. Definitely makes me smile, and it reminds me of a very colorful friend of mine. She always makes me smile too.
