When I saw the beautiful sparkly color-blocked top that both Janet and Zap bought at Metro Pointe during our Shoptoberfest weekend, I went back to Marshall’s to take a closer look and there was one XS, which I picked up, with a big smile on my face, and this was after making two trips to try it on. There was a tiny snag and they reduced it by 10%. Fortunately, it was in the darker section.

While I won’t rock it as well as these two dark-haired beauties, I loved it enough to want to copy two fashion-forward YLF’ers. So, thank you for showing me your “buys” that day.

I'd also really love to know how you two spot these jewels in a sea of items all packed so tightly in a store? For example, do you look at the label first?

With its open back, I layered it over my black Shimera tank, my black J. Brand jeans and my new Sam Edelman Okala pumps (hugs to Angie for introducing them and to Claire for busting them out in person so I could see these magnificent little animal print darlings). Temperatures drop in the high desert, so I topped it off with my black leather moto.

This gorgeous top made me feel elegant, confident, feminine and I'm giving it high marks for comfort.
