Last day of Conference and fly home tomorrow. It has been fun and the extra day-and-a-half of holiday leave first meant I stayed a night with my old friend ( last spent lots of time together in 1983 but you'd think no time had passed) and spent hours in a really interesting museum. Also saw several attractive clothes and shoe shops but am so invested in wearing my current wardrobe I wasn't tempted- which is great! I'm winning!
Pic 1: museum/shops day. It's cold! Beige tunic, knit pants, leopard fashion sneakers, wool swing coat, cream wool beanie 1988 knitted by MIL, cream wool scarf belonged to my grandfather, black faux fur at cuff gloves bought Canada 2009.
Pic 2: NZ made wool striped jacket, NZ made grey merino top, US made snakeskin NJDJ, Steve Madden gold stud boots.
Pic 3: tartan shirt, grey wool/acrylic tunic, ponte/leatherette pants, knee-high "button-up" boots.
Pic 4: changed into tartan tights and gold Oxfords for the Ceilidh. Sprained knee from 10 days earlier managed some dancing before I had to just watch and clap.
Pic 5: today, repeat of pic 2 but different top and jewellery. Happy with my packing- still brought a little much but did not need the extra warm layers so not too much wasted weight.
