As I mentioned on Angie's off-topic post this morning, something has finally snapped and it suddenly feels like spring this week! Something snapped in my brain too and I think I am finally coming out of hibernation. The past month and a half have been bad - combo of all the snow, seasonal affective disorder (hey, I'm a CA girl at heart), and work stress - so I'm ready to move on.

Today it's positively balmy*, there is a lovely springy breeze, and the snow is melting! I decided to wear some spring flowers and light wash jeans. There's a lot of puddles, so I still wanted to wear boots and no dragging hems. These midcalf boots are perfect because I can get the rolled hems of the BF jeans over them without it looking too bulky. And yes, I did try my white blazer on but I thought it was too short for this look so I went with my black suit blazer, which is longer, instead.

(BR blazer, Halogen sweater, Gap jeans, Dolce Vita boots)

*by which I mean it was 35ºF this morning, and now it's 45ºF!!!!
