I ended up wearing an unintended column of color today. I’m traveling this morning to Boston for the Yom Kippur holiday. The weather is going to be all over the place, 2 days of 55F/13C and rainy, 2 days of 75F/24C and sunny followed by 2 days of 60F/15C. Plus I needed 2 dressy outfits. It’s a lot to get into 1 carry on. So the boots needed to be worn instead of packed, which meant I would wear jeans instead of joggers. Always need layers on the plane, so this less than a blazer, more than a sweatshirt knit jacket was a 1st choice, and it’s perfect for the changing weather forecasted. Than a lightweight but wool tee. And than my raincoat, backpack (I’m working Thursday & Friday) and suitcase.
