I think both outfits are fine the way they are actually. You already have some great advice on how to add some pizzaz so I don't have much to add. I usually try to add pattern with a scarf or jewelry to my outfits when I feel they need a bit of extra. Do you have more dramatic earrings? Since your hair is tied back and your ears on on display that might be one way to add some flair.

Both outfits are beautiful on you! I like the idea of adding a scarf or some jewelry. A brooch, or two, would be fab on your jackets. How about a small scarf tied to your handbags or adding a tassel or Pom Pom to them? I don’t think you need much, just a little splash of color or texture should do it.
