The snow is melting, the weather is cold and damp and gloomy, and I'm short on outfit inspiration. I wanted to try a black, cinnamon and red outfit, but did not find red and cinnamon items that would have worked together.

I would love to know your insight on the following (not black/cinnamon/red) looks, which I liked but considered lacking detail :

  • Outfit #1 (normal work day, very cold temperature, dirty melting snow everywhere) - Skinny jeans with my reliable country boots, warm wool jacket, black silk scarf, black baselayer (not visible on the photo), black bag, gold ear studs. And frizzing hair (sigh!).
  • Outfit #2 (normal work day, milder temperature, fewer dirty melting snow) - Black A-line ponte dress with black tall boots, sky blue blazer, army green bag, small silver hoop earrings.

A pop of color, a fun pattern, more jewelry maybe...I don't really manage to find how to elevate these outfits.
All comments and tips are very welcome! Thank you all here for being so insightful and helpful.
