A friend organised a birthday dinner belatedly for two of us who had birthdays in early June ( keep in mind I am NZ so this is allowed).
As I haven’t dressed up in ages I wore my black lace dress (fourth wear) and my Mum’s cameo necklace. We were walking to the restaurant so I wore oxfords and the faux fur to keep me warm en route.
To my mind this dress and necklace are very classic. Not in the find. But I think I made them look more modern by wearing the blush lace ups? But maybe not.
We had a lovely night and I was grateful to be able to enjoy it.
