Today my MIL was baptized at the church she has been attending. DH and I surprised her by attending the service (we were tipped off by a close family friend) and then we all had a nice brunch after. We were told it was quite casual, and that jeans are commonplace, so I chose trouser jeans from Ricki's and took my silk mint and cream striped blouse from Club Monaco out on it's maiden voyage. I wore my Club Monaco moto, carried a cream bag, and ended up regretting wearing my Kate Spade nude pumps; DH and I decided to stop and run errands on the way home! Those shoes weren't made for strolling through Canadian Tire and then trekking across the grocery store.
