We had a group from church over tonight for carols, readings and a Christmas dinner. About 11 visitors and they all contributed food.
I wore this dress which is a recent surprise acquisition, kind of second hand gifted.
I liked the outfit but didn't realise until after the event that I had straps showing at the back. Pity, as I prefer having the coverage of a junior crop top.

It is a very interesting dress and you look fab in it ! I can see though that finding the right bra for this dress could be not easy. May I ask what a junior crop top is? (sorry to bother you but I am not English mother tongue).

Sisi, English is my native language and I don't know what that means either.

You'll all be glad to hear that my light coloured knicker stock is now washed (and I bought two new pairs) so normal summer clothes wearing can resume!

Anyway, thanks FI for asking again about Sisi's question which I had forgotten to return to. Australian language can be different

In summer I wear them OVER a normal bra so that they fill in the neckline a little, but are not so hot as wearing a cami. Because I'm not well endowed, I can easily fit a junior 14-16 (In fact the other day I accidentally wore DD10's junior 10-12. I think this is similar to the second base items that Angie has talked about on YLF, but cheaper. I got the idea from YLF member Beth Ann, though I don't remember if she used the term "crop top"

I don't think "crop top" is the problem; that term is common enough that my son knows and uses it. It's "junior crop top" that threw me. From what you just wrote, I'm guessing that's a crop top in junior sizing?
