This was worn for a day at home with family. Black cowl neck sweater, black + gold + colours brocade pants, gold toed D'Orsay flats, gold Christmas tree pin to bring some brightness back up near my face.
The pants were thrifted during a shopping trip with my sister and are intended for her (she wears colour and pattern WAY more than I do). They were too tight for her in August so i kept them to wear during the holidays, and will deliver them when i go to visit at New Year's. That will make these our second pair of Travelling Pants (I'll be fetching the others back).
The D'Orsays are thrifted too. Just as I was complaining to my daughter that our local thrift store no longer carried any good/unworn items, she spotted these AND an all black pair in my size. To my great surprise, they were comfortable, flattered my wide feet, and didn't fall off when I walked. So yes, dear reader, I got both.
Why yes, I have been planning out this outfit for months...
