Since I'm living my style life as a Frock Star, I decided to let go of the notion of a limited colour palette capsule wardrobe and just go nuts. Hey, all my jewel-toned frocks go great with my predominantly neutral (black, white, dark denim) toppers anyway.

As for the outfit - I realized that they didn't look so hot with the boots. I was shopping for summer heeled sandals today (walked away with my 2nd pair of Marginally not-so-matronly Aravons that had an ADJUSTABLE FOREFOOT AREA OMG!!! (http://www.cobbhillshoes.com/A.....cgid=21000)), I realized that my dress looked better with shoes that are more streamlined. I think it's because it's a bit wider than my usual pencil cut dresses.

In other news, I discovered that I can wear shift dresses, as long as the bust fits well, the fabric has drape and it a-lines out very slightly. I felt bad show rooming Melanie Lynn as I tried on a colourful Maggy London shift. Anyway....

Oh... And notice I'm not in a dressing room?
