Hi All

We have been on a small road trip around the South Island of NZ.  Fashion was VERY casual, lots of jeans, hoodies, puffer jackets, activewear.  We did a mix of hiking, driving, skiing, visiting friends and family and stayed with family, in an Air BNB and in cabins.

I did take a few WIW before I went away and have included them here.

I also visited the "Jeans Whisperer" (as per a previous thread) in Christchurch and came away with a pair of jeans.  I walked in to the store, talked to the owner advising him of my size and preference (high waist, no distressing, slim straight/skinny, blue) and he handed me a pair of Nobody high waisted relaxed skinnies that fit perfectly!!!  And my SIL ended up with some killer Lee jeans that fitted her brilliantly.  I have worn them three times already but no pics as yet.

The WIW do not feature new items except for the last one.  A lesson I have learnt is the virtue of the Fast Fall Back Option (FFB0) which the first four have been.  This is where photos have really helped as it has made me narrow down my options in the morning.

The South Island is just beautiful - here are some iphone pics.  I seem to have lost my cord for my SLR camera so cannot download those ones at the moment.

Pic 1:  Red silk spotty blouse and old jeans, worn to dinner with family and friends.

Pic 2 Sea green tunic worn with crops and same accessories as in 1.  Work look.

Pic 3 Green leather jacket, same jeans as 1, striped tee and silver shoes AGAIN.  Work from home.

Pic 4 Column of black with kimono, cognac sandal boots.  Worn to dinner with family and friends.

Pic 5.  Selfie at Glacier, can just see it in the foot of the photo.

Pic 6-7 At Lake Hawea, Central Otago.  Older son skimming.

Pic 8 Lindis Pass, Otago

Pic 9 Church of the Good Shepherd, MacKenzie Country.

Pic 10.  Selfie with younger son on Chairlift.

Pic 11 View from top of skifield - Stunning day on the slopes.

Pic 12.  The new orange dress!!  Just before our holiday I ended up adding a new dress for the 50th ( to be shown later) and decided this one would then work for the engagement party.  I left the outfit in the car at the airport with knee high boots and sandals as an option and in the end the boots would have been far too hot.  It felt great although the hair looks a bit mad in the photo (and was not at it's best after a quick change after our flights).

I hope to catch up on some threads I have missed.  I have been thinking about you all especially those in North California.
