Thanks, Carla! I love the punch of a black and white combo. I am sorely lacking in the white top department though. That will surely be high on my list for 2017 since I have a million or so black bottoms;-) I kept these bootcuts, plus a navy jean-styled (but not denim) pair of joe's baby bootcuts, and two pair that will need hemming if I decide to wear the silhouette enough to bring those into rotation. Since I don't wear heels anymore, I wasn't sure I would like the look. I think the pointy flats helped quite a bit.
Ummlila, at 5'5", I'm certainly not tall, but I do have relatively long legs. With these jeans, the combo of the long length and the low rise to elongate the torso, really does help the illusion. My beach is Hilton Head Island, off the coast of SC/Savannah, GA. Hoping it will be our full-time home starting in 2017.
