These are outfits I wore three weeks ago (right before I started my non denim challenge) for a long weekend where I worked on organizing committee of a ballroom dance competition. The occasion required much more formal dressing than I normally do, which I enjoyed, and I thought it would be fun to post these as I don not think I have ever posted a photo of me in a suit before.
Outfits #1, 2 and 4 are what I actually wore while trying to coordinate 20+ people on various days ( if you look at this youtube video on herding cats you will know exactly how I felt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_MaJDK3VNE) and trying to look authoritative and in control. #3 was for a dance social on a main evening.
I have a question for all of you who wear blouses tucked in pants/skirts: how do you manage to keep them in place the whole day? All of these blouses are silk and therefore quite slippery, they kept going up, pooffing at the sides and generally driving me batty the whole day.
