One of my unspoken style goals of 2022 was to add more light tan, British tan, and cognac to my closet. The Gods of Thrifting have had other ideas, and now I happily find I have a lot of white and cream pieces in my closet, instead.
This is what I wore last Sunday to the Dahlonega Arts and Jazz Festival to see my BFF perform. It was very easy and comfortable, and because everything was thrifted, I didn’t get all precious about it. I did swap out the shoes for espadrilles at the last minute, because I remembered there are hills and grass.
(My entire outfit is from Goodwill)
Talbots Linen/Cotton Blazer: Did I need another white jacket? No. But those oversized brown buttons were speaking to me.
Loft Cami, NWT
J Crew Linen Shorts
Madewell Leather Belt
Ann-Michelle sandals
ETA, regarding stains: So far, Blue Dawn + White Vinegar, or Zout has handled any stains or spills. And I occasionally add a small scoop of Oxyclean to brighten a cold-water wash.
