This WiW is kind of a snore but I'll post it anyway, since there's not much else to do while riding out Sandy. This is what I wore yesterday. I have latched on to a casual "uniform" of sorts for the weekend; it works even if it's not all that creative:

-- slouchy/slubby V neck tee (Jcrew)
-- skinny jeans (AG Farrah's)
-- leopard belt
-- topper; in this case, cozy burgundy sweater from AT
-- pleather Nine West wedge boots
-- hair: flat-ironed but still poofing due to high humidity

NOTES

1) These boots are favorites. They are ancient but still going strong. Pleather turned out to be quite practical with our weather; I've worn these in heavy rain and they act as good as any rain boot. I've worn these in snow and they resist salt (wipes right off). They are wedges so they have great traction too. The toe is square (and exaggerated), which you'd think is dated but every time I wear these boots, I get compliments.

2) I bought a few of these same Jcrew V-necks in various colors. The white one needs a cami underneath it, as it's a tad sheer. Can you tell I'm wearing a cami under it? Does it work? For some reason, I feel strange wearing a cami under a tee!
