DS started his swimming lessons for Week 2. Thankfully, this time the lessons are earlier in the day allowing me a little freedom in the outfit choice.
I am wearing black linen pants (F&F/new) with a drape neck top (old). I slipped into my studded flats (from India) to keep the casual vibe going, sorry you cannot see the sandals well in the pics A striped clutch (which I later slung on my shoulder) finished the outfit. DS's swimming gear went into a separate backpack which he carried
The Pants - I also duplicated the black linen pants in white (20$ each). I had been looking for white linen pants everywhere. The Gap and Mango ones didn't quite get me (the white ones were too transparent for my liking). These pants are just amazing! They have an elasticated waist at the back and button front with drawstring details. Fun and perfect fit! And because my wardrobe needs to be in check, I purged one colored jeans (they were green and I have green ankle pants as substitute) and a pair of brown cords. I just don't reach for them any more. These I know are worth the space in my wardrobe and will be my summer workhorses
The Top - Do you think I should hang on to this top? It is fitted and I am not sure if it is trendy. What say you fabbers?
