My Saturdays are often spent running errands and doing other mundane things. Yesterday I had to make a run to lululemon to get some new workout gear (I hate how expensive their stuff is but in all the years I've been working out I've never found a brand of workout pants that are as comfortable while also being relatively figure flattering. So it's one of the few brands I pony up full price for).

Afterwards, my BF and I tried lunch at a new-to-us restaurant in an area of Brentwood I didn't even know existed. Next door to the restaurant was a shoe boutique specializing in brands that are made to be incredibly comfortable. I snagged these adorable Gentle Souls flats on clearance for $90 (I've actually been looking for a black ballet type flat but they have a tendency to not stay put on my two different sized feet so these actually worked out really well.

I'm coveting a pair of amazing open toe and open heel wedge platform boots that lace up the back ankle/calf area by a local L.A brand called Lily & Lola (the shop specializes in mostly up and coming and more local "comfortable shoe" designers).

I didn't buy them because I couldn't decide whether the fact that you could tell one of my feet is smaller is more obvious when wearing them (because the heel doesn't sit as far back on the platform on that foot). So I decided I'd sleep on it and if I'm still thinking they'll work (which I kinda am) I'll go back today and get them (because they were seriously THE most comfortable high heel I have ever put on my incredibly fussy feet and the style is versatile enough to go with a ton of things already in my closet).

So yesterday's outfit was just a basic run around weekend outfit. It was cooler and a bit windy earlier in the day so the scarf was a must.
