anne - The outfit probably looks warmer than it was, the fabrics are not 'heavy' to wear. The office is, of course, air-conditioned, but how 'cool' it is varies quite a lot from floor to floor and workstation to workstation. The commute was a killer in both directions LOL (I catch the train and walk at both ends) but this felt as cool as any work outfit every does really so I was pretty happy with it from that perspective.
Deborah - I am a firm convert to Metalicus - the pieces so far have been nice to wear and held up well during the day. I felt just as put together at the end of the day as I did at the start so that was lovely too They are interesting cuts, fabrics and styles so I am certain I will be adding some more pieces to my wardrobe in the future. It might well be the start of a new addiction LOL
Gauche - I too was skeptical when I read that on the website and although when I visited Metalicus I did find a few items I tried which clearly would not work for my figure for various reasons, it felt no different to trying on items in 'my size' which were just the wrong length, cut or style for me. I didn't feel any of the items 'thinned out' and the patterns didn't seem to significantly distort on my curves which surprised me. For reference I am about an australian 16 to 18 on top (depending on generosity of cut at the bust) and a 16 on the bottom, fairly short waisted, and about average height.
