Dear all,
Happy Easter if you celebrate, and happy Spring to all of you!
In Norway we have a full week off (schools, that is), and I took the opportunity to visit my mother. Going back to where I grew up always brings back sweet memories, and this is my favorite spot for Easter since I can feel Spring a bit more there, being further south as it is. I stayed for three days.
#1: My Mum gave me this pretty scarf in black, white and cream earlier this year, and I enjoyed wearing it with the navy V-neck and jeans, completed with black ballet flats. It made her happy, and of course that made me happy, too.
#2: Color! I liked the leopard scarf with denim and red. Mushroom brown oxfords completed the outfit.
#3-4: A really simple outfit with a light blue and white striped tee, jeans and the green scarf. We spent most of the day sitting on the porch in the sun, talking and eating waffles that my mother made. Delicious! I had to wear the puffer, too, because the temperatures are still on the chilly side.
#5-6: Back home again. I only wore skirt once this week, which is rare. I was inspired by Angie's happy skirt outfit, but I lack a truly happy skirt, and of course the gorgeous boots she has. It is still a very comfortable outfit that I really like. I wore nude hose (yay!) and denim jacket as a nod to Spring, but when I went for a longer walk, I needed a coat and a scarf.
#7-8: This outfit earned me three compliments from my family members even before I left the house. That must be a good sign? I liked the structured trousers with the more casual striped tee. The nude patent loafers work well with red, I think.
#9: Yesterday's outfit based on the khaki/red/white formula.
#10: My tribute to Angie today is an almost entirely white outfit. White jeans, white cami, cream high-low transparent blouse, light oxfords and a chunky necklace to add some texture. We are having MIL and SIL with hubby over for dinner later, so I'm preparing a lamb roast. (This is an old photo, so I'm actually wearing the same brogues as in #2).
Thanks for reading an looking! Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Enjoy the rest of your Easter weekend, wherever you are!
