Neutrals, Jeans and Simplicity with some great accessories are what I love. When I saw Angie's post yesterday I knew what I was going to wear for our get together with friends. I have to stick with Birks because of my problem feet and I had two tops that I considered. I think I may have overdone the eye make up!

Look #1: Brown T shirt, Paige Jeans, Birks.
Look #2: Cream T shirt from James Perse, Paige Jeans, Birks.

Accessories in both Looks: Amber earrings, Weddings rings, Silver, gold and opal ring, Leather and silver bracelet. Brown leather tote from Craft show.

I went with Look #2.

I like your choice and think the Birks work great with your minimally fab look. I like your hair pulled back too. Your eyes don't look overdone at all but It's hard to notice in pictures though.

I like both looks with a preference for the look you chose. The eye makeup looks fine in the photo.

I hope you wear #1 at some point because the figure-skimming silhouette looks great.
I like both these easy looks, but honestly what I notice is your face and hair, which are both fabulous on a sunny day!

If Birks are your thing, you could always create a Birks capsule and have some fun with footwear that way.

Well as a Birk lover myself, I think both of these are terrific! You wear jeans and a belt so well - and with those earthy tones, this kind of outfit is a softer, prettier version. Hair and makeup looking gorgeous too - not overdone at all

Well thank you lovely Fabbers. I enjoyed wearing the outfit and was very comfy all day. This morning Mr. SF said he really liked my eye make up and hair like that. Unfortunately at some point during the day I lost one of my earrings. Very sad. They were my favourites.
Colette Thank you. I don't often wear my hair pulled back anymore. I am very self conscious about my neck. I felt inspired by the outfit.
Tanya Thank you. I used a new eyebrow mascara by Benefit. I went from Blonde to Brunette just like that.
Joy I also prefer the cream top. It felt more breezy.
Smittie that is a great idea about the Birks capsule. I am always longing for Paul Greens but maybe I should just add Birks to my wardrobe. At least for summer.
Thank you Lisap. I live in jeans and belts. Birks have been a life saver for me lately. It is all about the eyebrows these days. Glad I still have some.

I love both looks. Look 2 is closer to the Posted ensemble, but I love the first look because it's quietly sophisticated and minimal. It's hard to see your makeup. It doesn't look overdone. I wish the weather here was warm enough for Birks! We apparently had the coldest April on record and I think May is following same trend.

Thanks lovely Fabbers. This past weekend was the first time we were able to go without our coats. It has been very cold this year.
TG I would be lost with Birks. I am going to try Mephistos for some dressy wedges for a wedding but otherwise it is Birks for me.
SF I agree that #2 is more like the post because it is not so fitted. I don't seem to have many loose tops. Cold here too.
AG Finally I can go outside without freezing. But now the bugs have arrived!
