We're finally getting a few day stretch of what I would call warmer weather (mid 80's. I don't actually feel warm till it's around 90 degrees or above).

Took advantage of the warmer temps to break out the EF harem pants and pair them with some strong silver elements.

Paired the harem pants with a simple black t-shirt and a cropped silver leather Burberry moto jacket. I thought the fitted proportions of the jacket worked well with the fluid/flowy silhouette of the harem pants and then added an interesting pair of Chanel sandals (yay, for it being warm enough to wear open toed shoes!) that have a unique silver wedge heel that is structured to look like a chunk of silver that is roughly carved).

Really the outfit is a basic swath of black head to toe (too flowy on the bottom to really refer to it as a column of color, imho) paired with nothing but strong elemental silver in large and small doses.

The vintage Tiffany silver snake necklace and the additional Tiffany silver ring and bracelet added some additional shiny bling while still keeping things purely in the realm of casual silver and black.

I could totally see this outfit working well as an evening-out ensemble if I switched out the lower wedge heel sandals for a pair of high heeled black sandals with silver accents and swapped the black tee for a black silk drape neck shell I have.

Held several of my one on one team member meetings outside (something I often do when the weather is beautiful. I love that living in SoCal allows me the luxury of having meetings outside year round!) and one member of my team commented this was the first time he'd seen me wearing short sleeves for as long as he could remember. To which I responded that it was the first time we'd hit 90 in over a year and I was sitting in the sun. So I was actually warm enough. I then pointed at the jacket laying on my lap and said "the second I go back inside that goes back on or I'll be cold yet again and as usual."

There are days I miss living in the dry sauna that was Vegas.

Cropped silver leather moto jacket: Burberry (this is an example of why I sometimes really enjoy being petite. This jacket retailed for over $3k. I managed to get the children's version, which is identical to the adult one and still retailed for over $1500, aftermarket new with tags on ebay for $300)
Black harem pants: Eileen Fisher (via Macy's, I think, when they went on sale)
Sandals: Chanel (via The Real Real)
Sterling snake necklace with ruby eyes: Vintage 1970's prototype by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co.
Sterling tortoise shell pattern bracelet: Vintage 90's Tiffany & Co. (via estate buyout)
Matching sterling tortoise pattern ring: Vintage 90's Tiffany & Co.
Sterling square earrings: flea market or yard sale years ago. I can't remember
Bag: vintage YSL leather Mombasa bag with horn handle
Sunnies: Vintage 60's cat-eyes (via flea market)
Black t-shirt: no brand label (thrifted)
