Two WIWs:

A pair of rule breaking capris. These are probably technically a bit too long, but they fit at the absolute longest bearable capri length for me, so I'm being rebellious and wearing them at maximum length. But with pointy flats. 'Cause I'm not that rebellious.

I'm about done with my deep lilac v-neck sweater. The fit feels to fitted to be really current for me. However, wearing it with my bright purple shoes felt fun. The pants are navy and have a great texture that doesn't come through in the photo, so I added a pic of the fabric.

Second WIW is WIW today. I loved my cobalt blue wool skirt from J Crew so much that I bought a summer cotton version of it. I added a black and white sleeveless shirt, but I have to fess up that I am wearing a cardi over it at work to keep warm.

To modernize the outfit I wore my black booties, which you can barely see. I also grabbed (Angie, you would be so proud of me!) my metallic belt to wear. Unfortunately it was too big because this skirt sits so high on my waist. Hmmmm. Who knew I would need two metallic belts in my wardrobe?!?

Just for laughs, I included my hunchback picture. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to put a very long and very stiff zipper in the back of this shirt?!? I only spotted it in the mirror today, minutes after I had taken the tags off. Grrrrr. Luckily, upon inspection, it will be simple enough to remove the zipper entirely and sew up the seam. They didn't even need the zipper in the first place. *sigh*
